Moving more than 40 km away?

A real godsend… Note that people who have moved in recent years and were eligible for these deductions but failed to claim them, can ask Revenue Canada and Revenu Québec for a retroactive refund, provided that no more than 10 years have elapsed between the year of the move and the year of the claim. If you paid expenses in any of the years following your move, you can now deduct them from your income in the year you paid them.
